what do yall think of a Tahoe

My mom is looking to buying a new used car that can fit the whole fam it. a buddy of mine has a 2000 Tahoe will 88k v8 5.7 vortech. 4 wheel drive. fully loaded. for 5k. what do you guys think?

If I remember the years of how they look, I like the 2001+ tahoe. I've been actually looking to get one myself sometime. But as for how they are running wise, I have no idea.

I get a million of these things at work, if theyre so popular, they cant be that bad. and they do seem to drive pretty well

That's always been my first choice as far as SUVs. Haven't had much direct experience with them, but they seem really nice and look great. 5k sounds good, I'd take the plunge.

seems like a good deal at 5g's...its my second choice as far as SUV's go...number one is a denali...I say go for it, so long as it hasnt been abused or is in rough shape.

yah lol i no but my teacher has 93 or somthing like that and she says it get just about the same if not better then both her camaros.
