Avenger vs. Firebird

My stupid friend thinks his stock v-6 95 avenger can beat my almost stock 3.8L (cold air) 97 Firebird. This thought brightened my day, hope it gives everyone a good laugh:banana:

It actually probably could....

I don't do drag racing but from what I can gather they both run about the same times stock.

what about a stock 95 bmw auto vs. a 93 3.4 m5 with CIA and Cat back. sry for the thread jack. but this kid at my shcool thinks that everything his mom and dad buy him or that he own is the best and better then anything anyone one else has. he got this bmw for xmas and thinks its the fastest car in the school. and i just want to tell him that my bird would smoke him but i dont want to be wrong lol. (btw i dont race)

Avengers do 16.5s in the quarter, stock birds and camaros do 15.0's, high 14's at best. But ya never know... ok, so you should give him a head start.

most 3.8s do mid 15s stock...but a lot of them r startin to have high milage so its probly gonna start slippin to high 15s if they r still in stock form

I've owned both cars

I would say the Fbody is faster

the avenger was peppy though but you got to rev that little 2.5 V6 to get it going
