Again?? These threads are like clockwork. I think 3/4 of the post count you have is about this crap project of yours.

You will get nowhere near the amount of money invested back if you part it out, it will be a swift kick to the nuts with cowboy boots on.

You will NEVER get what you put into a project, financially.

You will almost never get what you put into a car, finacially.

Cars are a depreciating asset. You only put money into it for your enjoyment. He is obviously not enjoying it, so he is just wasting money.

Also an important Accounting principle is not look at what you already put into something, you already spent that money, its gone, look at what you are going to get out of it, and what you have to put into it, to get out of it.

My advice, sit down see what you really want for it, even if outragous, get a list of all the good parts, and a list of all the problems, post it on Craigslist with both. See if you get bites, if you get no interest, as in no e-mails or peopel coming to see it. Then part it out.

I didn't think I would get $2k for a 8 year old v6 with a blown motor, junkyard tranny whining rear end, and paint damage around the car, and a hacked off roof in a garage t-top conversion. But I did.

My 5.0 wasn't selling as well as I wanted, dropped the price a little got a lot more hits, and sold it.

i know i wont get what i put into it if i part it....but il lcertainly get ALOT more then i would if i just sold it outright....

and yeah i know that honestly the 11g into will never come back...ive cut my losses and took the kick in the ***.... it happens

projects are for enjoyment...i havnt enjoyed (as in drove) the car in two years .....where is my investment going for....its not doing me any good...why should i keep throwing parts and money at something ive completely lost all interest in.....i barly even like fbodys anymore because of this car...... ive been driving a stock suv around...i dont need anything more im content with it....why bother having a nice fast little sports car....i dont need it .....

I cant beleive you put 11,000 into that car, where?

You could buy a nice LS1 complete car for that.

no I think you will make more money parting it, because a non running f-body, especially an older style, I see you getting no more then $3k, unless you find a guy looking for a parts car to finish his project or freshen his car. You will never get $11k out of it.

sell the drivetrain, selll some random parts that sell ok(t-top conversion, rear, wheels, interior trim) then junk the car.
