You will not get more then $2k for it, especially if it needs $1200 in brake/suspension work. You may laugh at that, but its the truth. Car is only worth what someone will pay for it.


part it out. Unless its not worth the time you are going to spend on it, then sell it as a whole for $1500-2k.

believe me I know how to buy and sell ****. I was, and still claim to be the king of saving money on mods.(bought and sold parts for a profit, and modded cheaply but effectively)


But if you buy a project, and have it for 6 months to a year, you are not going to get what you put into it. MAYBE if you got an unbelievable deal on some classic. But and average car? no.

After taxes/insurance...



Now buying a car like a half swapped lt1 v6 for $1500, putting couple hundred in and selling it for $5k, thats more of a car you bought to flip.
