idk if anyones seen the commercial for the new knight rider that starts later today....they replaced the firebird with a mustang....i didnt like that they did that since i saw the show a lot growing up, it was like destiny when i got my car, kind of ironic in that sense......just wondering if anyone else has seen the commercial and what they think of the new change???

Simple... wanted a show.... and there hasn't been a firebird made in 6 years...


Why feel loyalty for a company/car, if the company doesn't feel the need to keep/make the car.

What's the next best thing (in their minds)? A Mustang apparently.

I'm surprised they didn't go with a Charger. Would've been better than a Mustang.

Wow... still a bunch of critics. Given I only caught the last 45 mins... but grew up on the original. I'll give this one a chance. Seems to have a "fair" story line, more modern for the time.

As for the car and the voice. If I was given a GT500KR, I'D KEEP IT! And you all would be stupid not too! Limited edition car, fast and not a "penis car" cough*vette*cough.

Val Kilmer as the voice, that will have to grow on me.

yea show sucked, only good thing was the connection to the movie they made in 91 and that david hasselholf was in it but never liked him, plus they put that second wing on the mustang which made it look retarded

i missed it...i meant to watch it but just forgot. as for them making kit a mustang, yeah i thought it was lame too. but the fact is that there is no new T/A, and i bet if there was they would have made kit one, but oh well, id still take a GT500KR if it was given to me :P

I ended up watching the whole thing. I didn't think it was too bad. I did however bring up the fact it was obviously heavily sponsored by Ford. I also bet my friend 10 bucks that they wouldn't destroy that Escape being it was a Ford, and if they wrecked ANY car, it would be a GM model. Well what do you know? Was I right or not? Haha.
