New 6 speed Supra World Record Broken! *Vid*

Not by me unfortunately but by Darin from Titan Motorsports which happens to be a good friend of mine and my tuner recently broke the 6 speed Supra Quickest ET in the world record. Previous record was 8.62 at 169 set by Ryan Woon of Las Vegas, NV. Darin who is from Orlando, Florida and works for Titan Motorsports went to a track rental last Sunday and set the new world record with a 8.55 at 171mph. The car was driven TO and FROM the track that day and is a daily driven car as well and still has ice cold a/c and full interior and averages 20-24mpg. The video was filmed by me and is raw footage with no editing minus the specs on his car. All work and tuning was done by the driver, Darin. Congrats to him and Ill keep you updated as he keeps on breaking his own record.

Cool. I wonder what shot of nitrous he used. Looks like he went a little "off" and probably can go even faster than that if he keeps the car straight as an arrow down the track. Awesome. :cool:

very impressive. Gotta love how violent that launch was. Only thing I've seen come close is a turboed viper. Congrats to him.
