not headgasket..it apeared to be fine..the head itself i guess has a crack in it...i found a head for 50 bucks shipped so im gunna get that,new gaskets,the cylinders can be honed out and cleaned..and i ordered new pistons and rings...
shouldn't be to bad, hell i dont even have to drop the motor

I dont think u can pull the cylinders off unless you unbolt the motor from the frame and lower it down, but I could be wrong.

$50 for a used head? Hopefully its not F'd.

Good luck, isnt too hard..

The hardest part about it is getting all 4 pistons and rings into the jug during re-installation.

I don't mean to start any E-Drama here but dude, your 11k into it, your never ever gonna see more than $2500 of that back. Just finish what you need and drive it. My V6 build has cost me $3000 and its still nothing but a hopped up 3.4, and I still need $500 worth of parts, on top of that it most likely won't run right cause the OBD1 BS. I'm not throwing in the towel just yet. Man Up fool

The worst part about it, you didnt do the swap yourself so you paid someone a sh!t load of money to put a LT1 in and not finish the job.

Id tell them they get paid when I can drive the car with a f'n LT1 out of this parking lot and not on a tow-truck.

yea oi bird did you ever try and get some $$$ back from the shop that "swapped" in the LT1?
