well to start things off so far ive found this site to be very helpfull just by reading up on performance mods. I should be getting a 02 firebird with under 50000 miles in 2 weeks and im very excited this is a big step up from what i started out with when i was 16(99 mercury cougar 2.5L v6, which i totalled) and from what im drivng now 2004 chevy trailblazer with the 4.2 I6

Umm.....you totalled the Cougar. I've raced them and can tell you they're slow as balls. You'd better be ready for the power increase. We don't need another "No more F-Body for me" thread :(
