:banana::banana::rock:finally! it's about time someone hired me! for those of you who don't know... i haven't had a job since mid-september. i've finally got a job at lowes. anybody got experience at lowes? i was going to be working at macaroni grill but i was told i'm not the "material" they're looking for. anyway... today's gonna be a good day.

well i work for a privately owned hardware store... and congrats on the job and if you cant take some advice you could just move up the pay scale alittle faster.. help every person you see.if you don't know how to help them find somebody that can don't give up on your customer and help them with every question they may have even if it is a stupid question and you customer WILL make note of this to your boss. very easy way to make alittle more green

I work with customers all day long... ask if someone needs assistance if they are within 7 steps of you... after helping, ask if hey need further assistance. Talk to the customer as if you are having a great day! That will make them feel somewhat more comfortable.

customer serivce IS key. dont answer just 1 question shop with them if needed,wait for them to tell you that they no longer need help and like what you do it will make the day just fly.

Yeah, me too, HOme Depot. It was hard work. I did most of the physical labor. As soon as you possibly can bid for the cashier position. It pays better.

congrats on the job! time to make some dough. ive never worked at a hardware store...but as a customer i know its always great when someone is very helpful and cares about finding what i need.
