Autocross and drag racing...

I love autocrossing, but little pricey(hard to be competitive unless stock, or have race tires)


I love dragracing, I have obviously done leaps and bounds with my 3.4L and my 3.8L coming to these but in the end it always comes to who has the most money wins.



after talking with some people about amateur circle track racing I really wanted to try it. All you need to get started locally, is an american car 100% stock, with windows removded and helmet and go.


The windows removed(and worry of ramming) worries me a little, but part of me wants to pick up a $500 cavalier, take the windows out of ti and go to town.

Drag racing....nothing like the anticipation for the light to turn green, and then blasting down the strip balls to the wall. Much fun

i like Rally the Most... theres no more thrilling than a AWD going sideways from Entry to Exit at highspeed... plus trusting your Nav is a hard thing to do.. but i guess you have to to finish the darn race...

I watch ALMS, DTM, F-1, and Rally.

I participate in auto-x and road rallys.

I would like to get into road courses and maybe rally-x.

I would love to try one of these enduro races (aka cannonballs) myself.

To watch: NASCAR, local circle tracks and school bus figure-8 on espn2.

Personally, I enjoy auto-x. Although, my fav is track racing (screw NASCAR), like the LeManns or the Grand Am series. The best races to watch are the DT series, hands down. Its the NASCAR of Europe, but better.
