not sure when it happened but i noticed it today. me and my dad work at the same place, he comes home and i take his car right back to the store and work my shift. we have to park in the back of the parking lot... company policy. so i go to get in it today and notice a little ding on the drivers door right below the window. im like wtf happened but i was in a hurry so i didnt pay much attention. i go to the bank and come out and happen to get a good look at the door. its all dented up. looks like someone hit it with a hammer a couple times. so i get a little upset and head home. i call my dad on the way home and ask him what happened, he said he didint know anything about it. i pull into the garage and spray it down since it was covered in salt and thats when the real damage was revealed. the front fender is dented up so it doesnt line up with the door. the drivers door is scratched and dented up too. i hate people, countless times i have gotten out of my car to go into work and almost get hit by someone tring to cut through a row of our cars. finnally someone must have hit it and took off. were gonna see if we can get the security tapes tommarow, we have worked there since it the place opened so were pretty cool with the managers so were hoping they can help us out and mabe find out who it was. just last summer a cashier hit my managers brand new car and tried to play it off like nothing happened.... he got busted big time... i cant beleive people these days. i was all ready scared to death driving the camaro there with shopping carts rolling around... now add crazy careless drivers to the list.

i hit someone in a parking lot once (in my old bonneville before i got my Firebird thank the lord...) but i at least had the decency to wait until they came out to let them know.

I know someone dinged my door a while ago, I did not realize it for a while not sure how long. The paint is cracked in the center and a small piece about inch wide and 1/4 inch tall is chipped off. I would contact the manager tonight to get video, if still useing tapes.. time is very limited.. can be anywhere from 12 hours - 72 hours.

I don't know about people sometimes.. if you hit someone just wait around give them you're insurance.. it won't kill you.. I did get backed into last year in parking lot, guy pulled back in.. I was very calm just asked if he had insurance. and he did. let him know there was no hard feelings. I think he was scarred hahahha I have ALOT of tattoos...and few piercings.. and I was not wearing a shirt.. the expression of relief when I let him know I was not mad at him was almost funny.

Damn.. Yeah I stock at a Publix and there are a bunch of retards (and people just about on their death bed that shouldn't be driving). People weave in and out of spots they shouldn't be in.. when I'm on break I sit in my car and listen to music, and I see people just cutting in and out, sometimes almost hit me and I just stare at them like I'm going to rip their head off if they touch my car..

Just today, I was listening to music (I had my car running, because the battery definitely would have died from my amp/sub after a few minutes), and this was night time (well >6:00 so it was dark), and my lights were on. We have that same policy where you have to park in the back.. Well anyways, there was a parked car in front of me with no one in it (another employees car), and keep in mind this is by no one else and my headlights aren't facing anything but trees after the car in front of me.

So some old ***** drives right up next to me and just stares at me.. so I stared back because that is extremely weird.. right? Yeah. So I rolled down the window with a "..wtf?" kind of face, and she just starts rambling about something like me not having "damn respect" and courtesy. She was literally yelling this too.. lol. I tried to explain that when my car is running and it's dark out, my lights automatically come on and I can't turn them off.. (thinking, how the **** is this affecting her?).. and she pulls away in her ****ty ford focus or whatever it was, with her whole front bumper missing (lol), I turned the car right back on as she left, and then she slammed on the brakes and then just left.. LOL so great.. I hate old people that ***** and complain about every little thing.


BTW this is the same **** that was *****ing that 2 different types of bread was a different price.. :p

Idk why I typed that, but it reminds me of what you said and it really got to me for some reason. I also get pissed when I see a shopping cart right next to my car thats in the middle of nowhere.

sorry to hear that you should not have a problem requesting the tapes if they wont give them to you just have your lawyer give them a little phone call requesting them they will cough them um lol

Don't count on it. I had something similar happen to me. I contacted the property managers. It happened Dec. 31st. Still no response. I had called mid January and they said they we still looking at the tapes? How bloody hard is it to see a car hit another?

yea some ******* took off the side view mirror off my brothers mustang.....and it was parked, how the **** do you do that, how fukin hard does someone open a fukin door to do that, i hate these fukin idiot but thank God nothings happened to my car......yet (bound to happen)

someone hit me here too. 2 years back. I have had numerous vandalizim done to my car. everyone is/must be jealous or something cuz they drive a POS and ours are just sexy.

well i got lucky... well kinda. the loss prevention guy happened to be there tonight reviewing videos. so i talked to him and he brought the video up for me and i watched but since there was a snow storm yesterday we couldnt see anything since the car is soo far out.... o well it was worth a shot, i guess we'll either pay the deductable or just leave it... i dont understand it with people, a couple years back my girl freind's X graffitied my car.. not even 2 months after i got it, waking up to find spray paint on a custom painted car wasnt my best day... i guess the only thing i can say is karma is a ***** for who ever did it.... :rant:

I just had a dream last night that someone hit my car in the parking lot and left. There was a huge dent in the right corner bumper and the guy who hit it wrote a message on my taillight covers saying he was sorry. But he didn't even give me his information. I was pissed. At least it was just a dream, unlike your story.
