ss trucks are quick for what they are but are a bit overpriced. if your going to pull stuff then get a 2500 if your not and are just trying to get a nice truck get the ss.

why not just get a new silverado 1500 with the optional 6.0 liter. GM offers cold air kits, bigger wheels, and performance exhaust systems that you can have the dealer install. Can even work it into your payments. Probably just as fast as an SS but without the cost.
