    I just replaced this part on my car. Can anyone guess what it is (or used to be)?

            Damn, you guys are good. I figured it would take a lot longer.

            It's the passenger side bump stop. Strange enough, the driver's side was in decent shape.

                keeps your axle from hitting the frame if your car "bottoms out"

                Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

                      yeah.. had that happen on mine too.. and the other side on mine was also in good shape..

                        haha I knew it too... yeah the older cars I think they were made of rubber and disenegrated. I lost them both on my 94, I think GM updated the part with a poly, oor something different one.

                          The new ones are some sort of hard plastic/poly.

                              only reason i knew that is becuase i just did mine and they looked like that.

                              they hit it everytime you hit a bump
