To be completely honest, nobody has EVER said anything bad about my car.
Almost every time I've taken my car to the track or car show someone says "Holy $hit...thats a V6?!" and then followed by good comments and conversation. Most people are in disbelief that a V6 will take the abuse I put it threw (i.e. nitrous and/or boost) and just ran nearly 7's in the 1/8.
I guess the moral of the story is to put nitrous on your car (or a turbo) and people wont give you as much crap LOL
pretty much my point, unless its putting down some really solid numbers, nobody gives a rats *** about the run of the mill v6, because it is slow.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
I didn't buy my car to race, sure it's nice to know that it's decently fast, but its a driver. It looks good, its fun to drive, it's reliable, and cheap to own. the perfect street car:rock:
exactly!.
I could careless what the LS1 or Lt1 guys say about my car because I know for a fact iam not gonna race my car but enjoy it as a daily driver and go on a few curises with the locals. If I wanted to buy a high performance vehicle it sure as hell wouldn't be a Fbody although I do fancy the late model WS6's:naughty: but anyways if I wanted to I could have had a V8 Camaro but I don't like them much.
Id rather have a Corvette with a V8 than a Camaro with a V8. Again if I wanted speed I would have gone after a Lamborghini or something like that that you know.
speed in a lambo... all 3 miles of it before you run out of gas. they are cars built for tools and small ****ed men who need to seriously overcompensate for lack of pecker.

.
Wow!! I am sorry if you own a F-body then it is a high performance car..
You are a real true F-body enthusiast!! I dont know how this message board would go on without you??
Jeff ..
1998 Firebird.. Built 3.8 with a 125 shot.. 370rwhp,415rwtq.. stock tune!! sold
I'm young. My F-Body was my first car, still have it.
Back in high school I can remember all the ricer kids constantly giving me crap because I drove a V6, and it only made it worse that it's an A4. But they shut up when you kick their A$!. So take your car, lay down some rubber, and shut 'em up the quiet way!

ever heard of insecurities? People make fun of, or down your car because they are afraid of it...maybe not afraid that they will necessarily lose, but maybe that it will be too close of a race and it looks bad on them...either way it doenst matter what other ppl say. People wanna say why buy a v6, should bought a v8 camaro...well why buy a v8 camaro, mine as well buy a vette...well...why the f*** should you buy a vette, the real powers in a porsche...but why buy a porsche when you can modify and work with a bugatti...list goes on...why buy and modify a bugatti when I can just buy an f-16 and smoke your ***, AND not have wait in traffic...you buy what you buy, work with what you got, who gives 2 ****s what anyone says...no matter what you have, there will always be something faster period.
speed of sound vs speed of light.......dry humor FTL.......anyway I own both, I have a 3.4 and 350 powered f-bodies, Its really just a matter of purpose. F*ck everyone else, If you want a car that looks good but have no use for speed, a V-6 is your ride. If you want the looks sexy and goes fast, love the sweet sonic emission of a V8, and don't mind the extra gas consumption, V8s are for you, don't worry about what some ricer has to say
as far as Im really concerened...anything that is much faster then a ls1 is too much for the road...I would estimate that my car has about 220-230 crank hp full bolt on...I almost never use the full potential of the car while driving, only when I hit the track which has been once...and sometimes when I accelerate to highway speeds spiritfully...maybe its just where I live...but there really isnt anywhere to open the car up and let loose...too me having a vette where I live would be more of a status thing then anything...thats my opinion though.
V6 supra?? that would be a first....they are a 2jzGTE inline 3.0 6 cylinder :)
and stubborn import owners or big bad V8 owners are a major reason why I have a turbo on my V6
Juiced Rally Red 98 A4<br /><br />Way too much to list....<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2263415\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2263415</a>
Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
