I am really sick

wow... I have never been sick like this .... I have been fighting high fever, cough since saturday... I went to the ER yesterday with 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit fever ... they took a chest xray (to r/o pneumonia ) and gave me a flu test (which was really bad... they insert a thin line through your nose and inject salt water) ..... well flu test came negative and doc told me that I have Acute Bronchitis... he gave me a Z-pack and wanted me to continue Tylenol for fever .... I was ok until last night ...OMG my fever spiked to 103.5 around 12 o'clock and I maintained that for the whole night... at some point I even had 104.2 ...that's just too damn high... I got really nervous because temp that high can cause brain damage..am i right?i took Tylenol and it didn't do shi*..... I didn't sleep for one minute last night.... I haven't eaten anything in last 48 hours..... right now fever went down a little but still at like 102.5 degrees ...... I really don't know what's going on..... this never happened before ... can u guys pray for me so that I get better ..... no medicine seem to work :(

Bronchitis SUCKS. Use to get it every year. Those antibiotics they gave you will kick in and eventually clear it up, just be sure to take ALL of the antibiotics. Drink a lot of water to loosen it up too. Eventually you'll cough up a "chunk" and feel much better. Make sure you keep your immune system strong afterwards.

I have had Broncitis before and its terrible. They gave me tylenol 5 among other things. To be honest, the best thing for me was eating alot and soaking it up some warm water to get the fever away. Good luck

Wow, I really hope you feel better. Drink lots of liquids to avoid dehydration.



I have had pink eye since Friday. I have not had this crap since I was about 5 years old, and I am 35 now. My eye is on fire!!!

Get to feeling better, man. Just keep trying to get those fluids down and some simple solids if you can. Water, Sprite, Gatorade, chicken/beef broth, and crackers are your friends. You'll feel so much better and the medicine will seem more effective if you can stomach something. Take it easy and don't push it too much. :)

Yeah I was there with ya too.. Then at about 7 years I got mono. That was horrible. Worst sickness I've ever endured. Easiest way to quit smoking though.

thanks... I feel a lil better now.... but still have no appetite ..... fever went down a lil which is good.... I thought I was gonna die last night.... i am drinking Gatorade and campbells soup now....
