Claymore, Yukikaze, Area 88, Macross Zero, and Capeta are my favorites. I also liked Initial D, Ergo Proxy, and Devil May Cry (to a lesser degree.) The dogfight scenes in Area 88, Yukikaze, and Macross Zero are some of the best and Capeta is about a Kart racer who goes on to Formula racing. Of course I can't forget Cowboy Bebop, Samurai 7, Samurai Champloo, Basilisk, or the Ghost in the Shell series either...

And Moyashimon is weirdly interesting...

Oh man... i used to watch anime alll the time back in the day. Dragonball Z and Ronin Warriors were my favs. Nowadays the occasional Kenshin episode or Trigun. But Samurai Champloo, FLCL, Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, Blue Gender, Case Closed, Lupin III, and GitS Stand Alone Complex = all good stuff :tup:

Original's like DBZ and Gundam. awesome shows. Also if Poke'mon falls into that catagory I was a fan of it also. I've fallen out of that scene though...

It ran its course while I was in 5th grade, and I've never caught on as to why there are 600+ as opposed to the origional good 151.

I do agree that anime is on the fall, but there are some good contenders that are sparking a new wave of series. I.E. Hellsing Ultimate by Kouta Hirano.
