air compressor

I was thinking about getting a small air compressor for my garage to make working on my cars easier at home. only problem- dont know anything about what compressors are good, good size, psi, hp, ect. so any help would be nice.

Most air tools run at 90psi so a 150psi with regulator is a start. What is most important is the scfm rating. You should get one that is at least 5scfm, or check the rating on your tools. The compressor MUST put out more than the tools require to keep the tank full and pressure higher than 90psi.

Either on the tool, or in the manual that came with it.
