welcome...:wavey: nice to see some more foreign interest in f-bodies... really nice 2nd gen there... actually they are all nice... but whats with the license plate on the 2nd camaro? swedish plates look like this...http://www.customeuropeanplates.com/...mples/lhb1.jpg do they have custom ones like in the US... and how much does it cost to import a car from a different continent? you must be loaded... wanna switch jobs?
There are tons of f-bodies overhere, I think you guys would be surprised if you made a visit.
The 72 license plate is acually a special plate that the American Car Club Sweden did for cars older than 30 years, but unfortunaly they are not leagal. But they do look good. We don't have the same type of plates that you have in the US, I wish we had because they look very good.
On the 72 plate the text reads, except for the license number, historic vehicle and the land of the midnight sun. The picture you show of the licens plate has the correct typo but a real license number should have three letter and three numbers, like ABC 123.
Importing a car is very expensive, the shipping alone is around $3000 plus the cost of the car itself and then 30% tax of the total amount of the shipping and the car, so it's not for free. Taxes are very high in Sweden.
I have bought all my three cars very cheap and then fixed them up, that's how I have been able to afford them. I did a 4700 hours frame of restoration of the 72. It was a rustbucket and a basket case when I started with it.

Frame off restoration during 4700 hours. All the work, including paint was done by me.
Also, post up your gas prices in the other thread started in the lounge. I am interested to know how much but it would be good to post it there. Nice cars!
What area of Sweden are you from? my family is Swedish and I visit there often, beautiful country...beautiful cars....i bet they look good over there seeing how 99% of the cars I saw were Saabs or Volvos
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
