i also just saw the part where she said the mother is "likely" facing child abuse charges. she'll get a fine at most i bet. the way the world is nowadays.
Child abuse laws are a bit rediculous though. Smacking your kid on the hand for getting in the cookie jar, bam DCF is on your *** and threatning to take your child! Not to say Im backing this woman, I dont think she should be allowed to even operate a vending machine.
Just to update this story.. this woman now has turned herself in and has an excuse... She was trying to calm her child down from a tantrum... but really... is there ANY excuse? I don't see one... I really think this woman ought to a.) have to undergo psychological treatment b.) have her tubes tied AND c.) be submited to the same treatment she put her child through.... wonder how "calm" she would be if she were stripped down, humiliated and sprayed and then broadcast for the Media Feeding Freenzy....

When my three year old has a trantrum I do one of two things. 1) ignore him or 2) sit him in the corner. Both techniques are effective. NEVER have I even come close to resorting to any sort of violence to handle a trantrum.

Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
