yea eh...not too long ago over here a father killed his daughter because (I believe they were muslim) and she wouldnt wear the head piece or vail to school. Like she would wear it on the bus, but then change her cloths and what not close to school...so her dad beat her and killed her...
Im probably the strongest advocate against people who baby and spoil their children. I hate seeing parents who throw money and toys and whatever else they can because they love them, and they think they are the best child in the world.
But this stuff just amazes me. An Xbox? You beat your kid to death over an Xbox? Are you kidding me? What the hell is going thru your mind when your own blood is dying because of something that can be easily replaced?
I guess its getting harder and harder for parents to find the median of it all. I think its too extreme on BOTH sides.

A woman here killed her little baby and then called it in missing, when they searched her house they found it in the attic.
Also my dad use to work as a 911 telecommunicator and he would come home and tell us about some calls, and one call I remember him telling me about was a married couple were fighting and the husband left the house and when he came back he found his baby in the oven. IN THE OVEN. the mother was just sittin around like nothing had happened. In the end the child was okay, it just had some 2nd degree burns on it.
