LOL sorry guess but I am pretty sure there is not one v6 that will sell for $9k any year, any combo, even willing to say any mods. (**** even with an ls1 swap)
I have never heard of 1 t56 having problems under 100k have any issue unless it was raced.
It all comes down to how badly you want the car and how much the other is going to let it go for. I bought mine for $7,000 and its a 2000 with 77k on it back in '06...I thought it was a helluva deal.
my t-56 has 160k on it...no problems....stayin in gear and guess what third is still there (shocking)...my buddy has 180k on his and hes got a stock t-56 behind his 396 lt1 and hasnt broke anythin....so u think about ur poppin out of gear problem again...ask any1 here how nice i am to my trannies
my point is that i beat the **** out of my car along with my buddy...have more mods than ur stock LS1...both have 4.10s and stage 3 spec clutches...and our trannies r fine...either a he has **** *** bad luck or hmmmm HE BEAT THE **** OUT OF THE CAR
