If you want gas prices to come down you have to hurt the main 2 oil suppliers. mobil 1 and exxon. If you dont buy there gas at all, the other oil companies will drop there prices. Wouldnt it be nice if we could pay $2 for a gallon again instead of $3.20 a gallon. Try to boycott these companies so the consumer can choose the price!

Boycotting two companies will only have the effect of inconveniencing yourself. Reducing consumption on a large scale is the only way. Until people stop using Hummers and Expeditions to carry one child to school, this is not going to happen*.

Everyone wants cheaper gas, but few are willing to change their lifestyle for it.


*For the first time in years, Large SUV sales are down, so there may be some hope.

I thought about it and still disagree. It's traded on the open market. If you don't buy it from Exxon, you'll buy it someplace else. Demand is unchanged; therefore, the price is unchanged.
