K&N FIPK... what I run... that cheesy lookin one above will prolly not hurt performance, but if its anything like the kinds a few of my buddy's tried out, itll enhance engine noise, and not in a good way...
              Phill

95 camaro... need money for turbo project...
94 S10 Blazer - winter beater - infinity system to be installed soon

\"The man who says it cant be done should not interrupt the man doing it...\"

well im thinking of making my own... thinking of moving the battery at the trunk beside the car jack... and have a straight pipe towards the radiator then a curvy T-pipe goin to where the battery used to be and the other would be at the factory location... im removing the airbox for this one.... so basically its a dual intake?

                  possible?

Sounds interesting ..... That would be cool to have a dual intake on both sides haha. I thought about just getting a SLP or something and modding it to fit (if it doesnt already, I have no clue)

lol well im thinking of doing the top end swap for my 3.4... but before i put them back together im thinking of polishing every single piece of it... and gring the "3400 SFI" off then engraving it with something else.... then the intake plays a big part of detail in the engine bay....

Yeah, My 3.4 is running strong right now (or so says the mechanic at the place where I had my controls put in ) and I have noticed it is holding its own so hopefully by the time it decides to die i'll have the money to call my uncle and see if he can get me a crate at wholesale :D So all I want for now is a CAI, it already has exhaust on it so im good with CAI :D

Isnt there someone on here that has done something similar to this? Except they put it where the foglights go and it looked like idk it was CRAZY!! it looked cool they had it hid behind a grille if im not mistaken.

IMO I think it would boost HP bc u have 2x the air flowing in

our intake and heads have always been the limiting factor in our cars flowing air and making good horsepower. And depending on what you do to get the air to the throttle body, extra bends and pipe lengths might only hurt performance (even with 2 air inlets). then there is the whole other problem of how to keep water out of your intake if you put the filters down too low or in the open. take it from someone who got stuck in a flashflood and hydrolocked his engine... its not fun, and itll happen quicker than you think.. if you make your own, just take that into consideration.... i still say go with the K&N..
