If they wanted to land you in prison, they would have taken you to a holding cell right after the accident happened, and the only way you'd be out is if you had a meeting with a magistrate to set your bail. You're not going to jail over this.
The only way he could "lower your fine" is if he reduced the charges, but considering the situation/scenario, there's no way any self-respecting judge is going to let you off the hook. You may be able to work out a payment plan, or something of the like, with the court secretary, though
What he said! ^ ... If u wanna pay lower INS and u NEED to drive asap , get a lawyer... If those are not important, your license most likely will be suspended and when u do get ur licence back, your rate will be higher than a mofo...

If your really an international student as you claim, then you are a guest in our country, obey our laws and when you you screw it up, take the blame like a big boy and pay your price. you deserve to go to jail... you could have killed people but that never crossed your mind huh?

you know what ? I dont slam on anyone, check my post history, but it pisses me off when people abuse the rights that I fight for....he is comming here for a jail house lawyer advise because he wants to avoid due justice.
As long as you bleeding hearts sympathize with this behavior, your insurance rates will climb, even tho it's only a v-6,but hey, he's only a guest, so we will be left to pay up in the transgressions that he leaves. Do you think he honestly cares about you or your country man? Fight this and save the life that we all fight for
Don't try and act like the OP is the only one endangering the public on the roads and raising your precious insurance rates. American citizens do it just as much as non-citizens, and try to weasel their way out of it moreso
Really thanks for your help guys,yeah i know for a fact that they gonna suspend my license coz of the 2 criminal charges and im ok with it coz i deserve it;no really i cant afford paying a big fine coz im only allowed to work for 20 hours a week and can only work inside the college =(..and hey ironranger u dont have to say all that s***,i know im in a different country and i respect ur laws,like i never had any ticket since i started driving here and tha crash happened coz i was reckless and showing off to my friends that day which i really regret,like dont come to me and tell me that u never drove over the speed limit and did some stupid stuff,and im not saying this as an execuse but im only 19 and sometimes u do some stupid s***,and im not trying to run away from the law,i just wanna know how can i lower the fines,and about increasing your insurance rates dont blame that on me,their is alot more reckless and worse drivers than me around here..thank nimrod.sixty9,yeah im just gonna be honest to the judge and explain to him wut happened coz thats the only way i can defend myself coz i cant get a lawyer..thxx smoke panter for those links!!..btw really thank you guys,and im gonna try posting some pics soon
dude, that sucks. when i was in traffic court for tickets i was just honest. worked out for me. they'll definitely set up a payment plan. it's the government, they want the money. if you cant give it to them immediately, they'll wait.:rolleyes:
yeah im sure the engine and other parts are good coz the car was still on after the roll over,but i sold it for a salvage yard for $400 which is the best deal i got on it,f**** salvage yards always win..yeah man honesty is gonna be my best bet!!
