My wife and I are planning to take a long drive trip to Idaho by May or June. We wanted to be sponstaneous and we decided on Idaho. Last year we went to Maine and Washington DC. So this year Utah and Idaho.
I've been there quite a few times as a lot of my family lives in idaho. There isn't really a whole lot to do from my experience. They have a good amount of snow in the winter, and it's very hot and dry in the summer. Yellowstone is pretty cool, but it's hardly in Idaho.
