I'm looking to play SD cards on my radio...is there any specific things I would need, or is it out of the question? All I have is an auxiliary hook (kinda like a headphone jack). What I'm wondering is if there is any possibility to rig an sd player without getting an entirely new radio...

Re: Radio
Whatever it is, it will need to read, control, and play the music off the SD card standalone. What you're describing is basically an audio input. If you had an iPod for instance, you would be able to play the songs through your stereo. If you have an MP3 player that reads SD cards, then get the correct cable and you'll be able to play it through your stereo.

Re: Radio
Some time ago, dad wanted a CD player in his 97 S10. He also wanted to get a new truck. We opted to not get him the CD player since they're not "cheap". We found him an SD Card Reader/MP3 Player that plugs into the cigarette lighter plug, and broadcasts the song over FM frequency back to your radio. Pretty nifty little gadget. I'll try to get some more info on it, and maybe a picture for you. We got it at Target over a year ago.~Chris
1999 Hugger Orange Camaro
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/273836

†…faith…hope
