ill agree, but not in this case, i personaly will never buy a NEW foriegn car. but if ones used, the money wont be leaving the country and your not supporting any other countrys

Not really meaning to jump into an argument. I drive both a foreign and a domestic car, so I'm not exceptionally partial to either side. But anytime you buy and drive a car, regardless of whether it's new or used, you're supporting the maker or country of origin in some form. Maybe not directly or financially, but just driving it around is advertising. That's why they have emblems and logos all over these things, not so you can remember the model of car you drive. But so other can see what the make and model of that car is.

You are supporting the maker, not the country. If you were supporting a country with the logos, there would be flags, and not company badges. It's called advertising.
