Yeah, if you have a bigger bar up front, which as I remember, you do. If your cruising at, say, 50, and you jerk the steering wheel a tad, with too small a rear bar, it will feel like the rear is trying to "catch up." As if it's moving slower.

Bone, I'll have to see what I can do for boxes and get a weight on them so I can get you a quote. What do you say to $50 plus shipping for both?

Yeah that's cool, but I was thinking. If I was going to go to the trouble of swapping them, wouldn't it be better to go with 32's like you? Sounds like you like them.

They are actually in a nearby city in a shop of my dad's. I've been wanting to take a nice drive though and it's the perfect light and time for pictures, so I'll go pick them up for you and i can get dimensions and weight

It's up to you. 32/19 is going to have more roll control, but 30/17 is an improvement as well. They took the bar diameter down in 98 due to changes in spring rate and such, so the 30/17 bars should be a nice improvement, but it's your call what you want to do. btw, i believe my rear bar has poly bushings on it as it sits. Not soft rubber anyway.

I never really looked. Are they easy to swap? I assume they're just hanging up there.

Yeah, four bolts... actually 6 in the front because of some weird bracket that I can't figure out what it does. The rear bar is just 4 bolts. They have really easy access and were easy to get off. That is excluding the endlinks of course.

So you want me to get you a quote, or should I save the gas?

Hold off for now and let me think about it as a whole. I'm definitely considering it, but gas is expensive.

Alright that's cool, just let me know. As much as I like going on drives, it's 40 minutes worth of gas, so I'd rather not if it's for no other reason.

well what about this, since I have a 32mm up front, would it be wise to go with a 19mm in the rear or a 21mm? Found both on ebay for under $50.

I'd do 19. Too much rear bar isn't a good thing, and 19 works just great with the 32 front.

...and the guy at Advanced was arguing with me saying I did not have a 28mm in the front. He finally told me to call GM with my VIN number to be sure. I'm saying 28mm.

I think he was saying 30, so he's probably thinking 93-97.
