Yeah, I kind of swore off black but I was still looking at a couple of them... (an 04' vert and an 08'.) It's just too difficult a color to keep clean (shows everrrrything) and it's extremely HOT in the summer. I've had 4 black cars. The interior was a more important factor in the decision making this time. I wanted a lighter color... something different.
Trust me, I would take your exact `Vette any day in a heartbeat. Beautiful color, awesome car, congrats...
A couple more cell phone quality pics. I want to go pick it up tonight, but I have a stomach virus. (Don't need to have any "accidents" on the light colored seats). So looks like tomorrow night will be better.

It's like a Corvette Heaven .... I remember coupe months ago they had a corvette photo shoot... OMFG.... you had to be there to see this thing... I was driving by and my jaw dropped.. What they did was that they lined up one corvette next to another at angle in their whole lot .... atleast 200 + corvettes facing the same way , all engine started up, HIDs are on, and it's right before the sunset so there's just enough light.... can u picture it? 200+ 07-08 Corvettes , all idling, all headlights on , and facing exactly the same way with perfect angle.... umm yeah that was something...
Congrats. I am glad you got it. Ill have to check out the pics later when I am not at work. They block all the good stuff here. I think you will be happy with the new vette. Cant wait for your name to show up on the vette forum. Also I dont know which place you hang out, where these "pompous corvette people" are, but any a$$hole can buy a vette so dont mind them and always know there will be better people close by. Congrats once again and you have some awesome rides. Have fun with finding room for you cars. I suggest your first mod be a lift so you can work on them and store them!
I can't believe vettes only came with 2.73s or 3.15s? My M6 Camaro has 3.42s? I guess they want the vette to have better topend. Overall, I'm disappointed with the low end of the LS1, but i'm not dumping the clutch...yet :)
Also you have to remember just becuase the gears are lower doesnt hurt alot. The vettes have torque tubes and different trannys than the F-body, so sometimes less is more.:tup:
I ordered a polished upper radiator support, pcm cover, master cylinder cover, and fuse box cover. Still looking for more pieces but probably have to...
Need both window regulators for 1997 Camaro/Firebird.
