    Neither the 3.4 or the 3.8 are gutless cars by any means. They both have plenty enough power for most peoples needs. No, neither is a super car, but even the 3.4 is decently peppy. chances are, where you live, the 3.8s are only going to be 96-02. Either way though, I would look a bit longer and hold out for the 3.8L. It's a much better designed engine with better gas mileage and more power.

      Yeah in NC there are plenty of 3.8's for sale, you have to look really hard and use a fine toothed comb to find them though, I found mine on a whim. No doubt its a 3.4 but it'll do until I can get something better. To the OP ..... I'd go for 96+, really if you're like me, I liked the 98-02 front ends, hold out for one of those. I have seen some 98's go for about 1800 in perfect working order and I have also seen some go for 3K and they be wrecked in the front and before the buyer knows it they've spent a good amount in tires. POINT is Hold out because a 94 isnt worth that, I payed 2500 for my 95.
