I know how it is Thor, I have been living off my credit cards for about a year now. Waiting for my Long term disability and SSD to kick in. Although my back payments will add up to 25,000. It still won't cover my future amounts I need. So Bankrupcty is in my future in about 2 years I figure, sucks throwing away a 810 credit score but I can't do much about it. But we will be able to keep our house and cars. I also included my wifes bills too because I figure if I have to do it might as well got out big. Just about $100,000 in cards will be gone. So I say to you, if need be, either spouse can file and it will not hurt the other spouses credit, just to let you know if you've considered it. But good luck to you and your wife, Steve

Just to let you guys know if its medical bill related, you can get out of it without credit cards.

I had $192k in med bills I got through them. I just scrimped by just living normal.

With mine we would have to sell the house if we didn't have our credit cards, I spend just for myself $1000 a month in medical related payments(cobra,medications,copays).

That's exactly what we are going through. My dad is retiring this year. He said he was going to give us some money from the benefit he's getting from his job. But we'll see.

Know how many I didn't pay, argued later and were written off by hospitals and doctor's offices?


I didn't really have to deal with meds... My cancer doc hooked me up with tons of free samples, and rest was administered in the hospital, and billed to me.


Just saying...

I am more heartbroken with my projects sitting not getting the stuff I planned for them, then I am about having extra cash in my pocket, and just daydreaming of my next project when I gt the money again.
