idk if anyones seen cicadas but they came out here last year and they were EVERYWHERE makin that loud *** buzzing sound all day...couldnt drive wit the windows down or walk outside w/o them being everywhere.....they come out every 17 years.....just 16 till they come back.......

Every 17 years?! Would be nice. Those things are down here every summer from late June to early September. Noisy enough so that you can't talk to anyone around from early afternoon to dusk. Can find their shells all around the house and yard.

Although there are some sort of cicada-killing wasps that are populating around here. Crazy things... but one less cicada makes me happy.

yea the last time b4 that that they came out was in 89 which was when i was born...so i was freaked out since ive never seen them.....friends almost crashed when i was wit them cuz they were terrified of them.lol sucks for u guyz having them every summer

Eh sounds like summer to me. Yeah those wasps are F'n huge! I freaked out when I saw one of those, I had no idea wtf a wasp was doin being that huge. I geuss they don't hurt people though, I still don't like em.
