Re: gt2
I would like to know too (the valvetrain stuff) I still need to buy the rest of the stuff.
I have an Abbott N/A cam, would it be necessary to change the pushrods too?
So far, minus the gaskets and random ****, I need to get 130# springs (and seals/retainers/locks) double timing chain, and I'll be using stock rockers, and I am not sure about pushrods/lifters.

Anyways, you may be able to find the shaft used on eBay, but you may not want to gamble your motor on a used camshaft. You could go the route of getting a custom grind from comp cams, and cut it to the ZZP specs. For the valvetrain stuff, it depends on what springs you want. Abbotts racing heads have 105# and 130# springs for slightly cheaper, but ZZP offers 90# springs that are much cheaper than the previously mentioned two

Re: gt2
Well my original though was to get the 105# but they had that whole thing about the springs breaking, and I wasn't too sure I wanted to get those. Then everyone was saying to get the 130's and the double timing chain so I didn't need a tensioner, because apparently the tensioner would get worn pretty fast with those springs.
I said that I wasn't planning on raising my rev limiter, maybe only 500 rpms MAX so I never really thought I needed the 130#.
You think 105's would be fine then?

Re: gt2
^the problem with the 105# springs has all the qualities of being simply a bad batch; there were alot of people running them for a long time, then another group of people ordered them all within about 3 months of eachother, and it was just that second group that had problems. Ever since then, no one's complained of broken springs.

Re: gt2
I sent a set of used Comp 105lb springs back to Comp, they tested them and sent me a new set of 105lb springs. I guess they were bad. I didn't pay shipping either way and didn't have to pay anything for the new springs. Comp very good customer service. It all started by me emailing them asking them about the batches of 105lb bad springs, ended up with a new set.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
