the snow cools the track, and pretty much just steers the sled, but with the ski's in the air that doesnt really matter.
Theres a guy I hang out with that builds drag quads, he had a banshee with a sh!t load of money invested, running alcohol, nitrous, drag slicks, extended frame and swingarm.
He would race hyabusa's at the track and put 10-15 lengths on them depending on the rider.
He sold that off and is running a twin turbo nitrous sled, does something like 6 seconds in the 900ft drag.

Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
