they both have they're fun points...running the 1/4 mile in my T/A is a joygasmic experience...but tromping rice/mustangs in the V6 is so satisfying as well,
Is that a series II motor, grand national or what? Thats pretty cool. I'm talking street cars though.
series II, same one that comes in all 98 fbody cars. So one in 8s and a handful in 11s and working on 10s. It is going to happen sooner than later with all the projects people are working on.
Exactly, like I said it doesn't matter what it is, you CAN make it fast with hard work and dedication. I was just trying to make the point that if you work hard you can acheive anything you want to. I'm not sure if you caught that or not.

It's a good thing you didn't, because LS1's and L36's get comparable gas mileage..the only real difference shows up is in the transmission. Furthermore, once you start modding a V6 to be just as fast, or faster than, as an LS1, most typically have to go up in octane to keep the KR down
guys i ask myself this question all the time and its really got no good answer. we started with a v6 so thats what we know. thats what we are used to and thats why we stick with it. had we started with a v8 we would have said/done the same things. id love to have started with a v8... just think of where my car would be had i had more compression to start with! haha

^basically, right there.
I only mentioned the LS1 because it's the harder of the two engines to outperform, when starting with a L36; basically, if you can take an LS1, you can take a LT1.

and you always seem to be in a bad mood
