I mod mine because I'm a stereotypical man. I can't leave anything alone. I always have to take it apart, grab a power tool, cut something, add something, change something. It's in my blood. I must do it. I'm modding my suspension Friday. Was just going to do springs and LCA relocation brackets, but I ended up getting all the tubular arms and bars. Do I believe this tubular stuff is going to make a difference on my daily driver? Probably not, but I must do it... just because I can. I'm a man and I mod. That's what I do, then I take a test drive to buy more beer.

I always ask questions before I search, know why? Because someone else might have a different take on it. Info becomes outdated over time, a very short time, there can be a new way to do something, mod something, use some tool, or whatever. Don't be so quick to bash for asking questions relative to the message board. I have NEVER done that unless I don't agree with an answer given. You will NEVER see me ***** someone out because they didn't use the search function.

thats not really what I meant, search plus cross reference all my results, then I sometimes ask again...depends what the issue is...some things have been covered 8000000 times...anyways Im just saying we should all try and get along, we all share a common interest...plus there is already so much hate in this damn world

i dont mod mine because i cant see putting money into a v6 camaro

i understand the point that you can make a v6 faster than a stock ls1, but if oyu put the same amount of money into an ls1 as you would a v6 you would have a fast as hell car

not really......a good heads and cam package for an LS1 is some where near 3k+ where as 1500 will get you a lot more out of a V6...your point is null go die...you want True bang for your buck.....get an old 350. I spend $300 and went from a 15.3 to a 14.4, on bald street tires and a busted *** suspension

I modded mine to be part of something different and meaningful!! I would rather be on this board then LS1tech.. I have a LS1 car now and have had one for almost 3 years.. Check my post count on here and then go to LS1tech and check out my post count.. I have 56 posts and have been on that website for 5 years!! We are a small community and that helps out alot when people have questions about there cars and what not!! We admire all Fbodies not just the ones with V8's in them..

Why mod a LS1 when you can get a LS7 and mod that?? My V6 was alot faster then my almost full bolt on WS6!!

Last time I checked 11's isn't fast. No not everyone can make a V8 fast. Again, fast is 10's, not 11's. It takes even more knowledge to make a V8 fast.

Sigh. Its all about perspective.

11 sec v6...pretty fast
11 sec LS1...average
11 sec top fuel funny car...embarrassing

Get my point?

Whenever I go to the track, there are at least 2-3 people who are pretty impressed by my track times and want to check out my car in the pits. Not because it runs the fastest times of the day that day, but because I can pull it off with this platform.
