I had a flat tire and the walls of the tire was destroyed. I took it to Pepboys and got a new tire.
Before installing the wheel I decided to paint them. Since the 22 year old wheel looks crappy anyway, I'm sure painting it won't hurt.
I cleaned it first and I can't believe how difficult it was getting the caked on brake dust out from it. I literally had to remove it with a knife and then use steel brush.
I went back to Pepboys again and bought a couple of paint can and sand paper.
I sand up the wheel before painting it. I powdercoated the inside black and anodized the lip candyapple red.
It's not perfect but it looks 100% better than before.
