  • Full throttle run yesterday afternoon...

i was headed out to church yesterday afternoon, and decided i'd lay it down one good time, as i rarely ever floor it in my car...i'm always scared cuz of the mileage. so yea...i'm kinda wonderin if i need to have my tranny serviced...cuz i pulled out of my driveway, laid it down, and it went on to the top of 1st, shifted neatly. it wound up to around 4900, at about 58...went up to 5200, hung there until i got to about 62 or so, and shifted neatly. Felt like it held in 2nd a little long for me, it was only a couple seconds, but still...did it hold off on the shift like that cuz of the 3.4's huge falloff in power after 4500 like i've always heard about, or should it have shifted faster instead of holdin 5200 for a good second?..just wonderin bout this...
