Gas is now over $4 in my area

Yup, as of Monday this is what I see in a lot of gas station in my area:

Regular $4.09
Plus $4.23
Supreme $4.39

In the high desert this is what I saw:

Regular $5.15
Plus $5.45
Supreme $5.63

From what I know it is quite a distance for the gas truck to go up there and deliver, but what's the excuse for the gas prices to be so high in my area is beyond me.

Other places around my area this is what I see:

Regular $3.89
Plus $3.99
Supreme $4.11


I never thought in my life time that I would be paying over $4.00 for a gallon of gas.

yeah 3.45 here in the ATL but its been going up everyday
EX: last time i bought gas it was 3.32

3.58 is the cheapest here... the funny thing is that the farther you get from the interstate, the cheaper it is... shouldn't it be the other way around. Asshats keep raising prices.

$3.65 a gallon here. We left Pigeon Forge, TN Sunday morning. I filled up @ $3.35 a gallon, and refilled when we got back to WV at $3.65. I'm just glad I got 28+mpg on that trip. Stupid P1870 code made my transmission go stupid again. I ran 2600-2800 rpm the whole way home.... coulda gotten 30-32mpg.

But yeah.... $3.65 here.

Nah, basic business- the closer to the interstate, the more people that'll be stopping in for gas, thus you can charge them more and they'll deal with it, especially tourists who don't want to risk getting lost in search for cheaper gas.

3.49 for regular here, I put mid-grade in mine at 3.59 :(

reg is about 3.35 here. i try to use shell so i pay 3.39.
