F-Body Calendar Entries

Alright everyone. Here's the thread to enter your car for nomination into the 2008-2009 FirebirdV6.com F-Body Calendar. Please Post YOUR CAR ONLY. DO NOT VOTE IN THIS THREAD.

Post TWO pictures of your car. The should be the picture you would most like to see included in our calendar. Please also include your location, and a modification list in your post. I cannot stress enough though. TWO PICTURES. This is not a chance to whore out your car.

A few general guidelines.

Your car should be clean.
We don't want to see you in the picture, unless you're Carmen Electra.
Camaros and Firebirds ONLY (Obviously) V8's ARE NOT ALLOWED!

If you're posting for entry, please post in the original thread and state your intent to purchase a calendar.

Please use the voting thread to vote for the car you would most like to see in our calendar. You may vote before entries close, but I highly suggest that you wait so you can choose from all options. You may only vote for one car. The top 13 will be included in the calendar, with first place taking the cover. I will then contact the owner's of places 2 - 13 in order so they can pick the month they wish to represent.

EDIT: Unfortunetly, dude to printing circumstances, we can only print color in the upper picture. As a result, there will only be 13 cars included in this years calendar.

Why would you close entires in May 2008 for a calender in 2009??

You should keep it open until November (toward the end of the year) that way people have time to clean up/mod thier cars and have time to find a nice place to take a picture. Especially when some people havent even pulled their cars out of storage/garage from winter yet. Ya know?

I like the idea, but this seems really rushed...

a friend of mine did something like this before. since he was doing it himself. he needed time to put everything together, then send it away, get them back and mail them out. figure you don't want to wait till jan to get your cal. you want it at least a month in advanced.

I need to fix the alighnment of my hood and buy a claybar and buffer to take out all my swirls form before i bought the car.

I need at least a month to do the layout for it, and it's two week turn around. tack on a week's shipping and you're looking at 2 month's production time before it reaches your doorstep. Plus you need to collect the cash to place the order, so we're easily looking at another month before it even hits the presses. Then I have to go through and mail them all out to everyone seperately... if I closed it in November you'd see a 2009 calendar on your wall in middle of Feb/Early March. closing it in July you could have a calendar that goes from dec 2008 to dec 2009 in your hands by October/November.
