here is the break down on payment info.

if you have direct deposit.

Last two SSN digits: Payment will be transmitted by:
00 through 20 May 2
21 through 75 May 9
76 through 99 May 16

paper check (non D.D)

Last two SSN digits: Payments will be mailed by:
00 through 09 May 16
10 through 18 May 23
19 through 25 May 30
26 through 38 June 6
39 through 51 June 13
52 through 63 June 20
64 through 75 June 27
76 through 87 July 4
88 through 99 July 11


the ammount will be 600 per single, 1200 per married and 300 per kid

so everyone is getting this? how would it work out for me? I work per-diem but i work 40 hours every week. Im 19 and i think im still on my parents insurance, so would i get 300?

If you filed a tax return in your name for the 2007 tax year, you are eligible for $600 assuming you did not make over $75,000.

If you filed a tax return in your name for the 2007 tax year, you are eligible for $600 assuming you did not make over $75,000.

I think it depends on how his taxes were filed. If his parents claimed him as a dependant, they would be entitled to the $300, and the government sure isn't going to give him an additional $600.

Also, thought they were starting to send them out earlier. I heard a week earlier. Hmmm... Doesn't really matter to me :( I don't qualify.

Good point. I thought it was anyone with a tax return, but I am not sure about the situation you described.

They said in the news last night that some checks were being mailed out as early as today.

Unfortunately, I don't qualify either.

From irs.gov... similar situation I assume.

"Q. If a taxpayer provides incorrect direct deposit information and his or her refund is returned to the IRS, will the IRS also attempt to Direct Deposit the stimulus payment into the "bad" account?

A. Once a payment is returned to the IRS, a paper check will be issued both for the original refund and for the stimulus payment. [New 4/11/08]"
