I'm going tonight to an indoor facility with field turf. Its BYOP and no rentals. I'm a first time player and I'm going with a bunch of avid paintballers. Anyone have any advice for me? Strategy?

Re: paintball strategy
dont get shot.
seriously though, just observe and make adjusments. dont be afraid to ask for tips from the more experienced players. they may want you to do a certain thing on the field like lay down fire to a certain area. most of all have fun. paintball kicks a**. wish i still played.

Re: paintball strategy
are you doin like speed ball? like an arena? if so, awesome. its the best way to play. basically if youre moving between bunkers, move fast, stay low and fire while you move. dont pop out too far to shoot, but dont blind fire (everyone will hate you) and definatly take any advice you get from people playin with you. experienced players are usually really willing to give out good advice.

Re: paintball strategy
great night...I really enjoyed myself. We played speedball most of the night but did finish off at a bunker field. I love the strategy.
Considering I played with a semi automatic gun I didn't do too bad. Some of these guys were intense tho...crazy guns. I had the privelege of being shot a few times with a $1200 gun (the ego or something like that).

but thats cool man, glad you had fun. i havent played in awhile, need to go again soon. just wish it wasnt so expensive
The thing only weighed a few ounces. Apparently the balls fire out of there so fast they actually draft each other after leaving the barrel.
well if you go with avid paintballers apparently they love to set you up. I only ended up paying entrance (15 bucks) for an unlimited time of playing.Last edited by Mike88; 05-05-2008, 10:34 PM.
