when I was in the ironworkers union I had to have someone I knew vouch for me, and then a local company sponsored me thru my appenticeship, 3 years of school, OJT, and me and my family lived quite well. But I felt the need to serve the country more than make alot of money. Which brings me to the point of the military...dont join if you just want the benefits and a paycheck, soldiers serve our country not them selves...
