How long things are held by the register (the ones people change their mind and don't want it) before put back to their own place? (parishable and non parishable)
:)
This just made me think. I had to return some stuff at Wal-Mart the other day.... When I was at the customer service desk, my roommate and I noticed that they had frozen foods, behind the desk waiting to be restocked. Only God knows how long that has been sitting at the desk. My imagination/assumption tells me at least 12 hours. Ew. Good thing I never buy food at Wal-Mart.

Yup, that's why I ask . I see parishable item all the time behind the desk ..then at the end of the day they will restock the item at it's own place ... that's NOT good for ur digestive system , is it?

We have the dumbest cashiers and baggers (thats where they put you if you are a crappy worker) that leave ice cream up front all day and then try to put it back in the freezer! We always check everything to make sure its legit. But every store is different. I know a few stores that I wouldn't buy products from. One Kroger in Lex has an awful Dairy crew that will leave everything out all day and then stock it.
You work at Krogers right? Krogers in Shelbyville and Frankfort was the only place I could find center cut hot dogs and there a Kroger brand. There labled as "coney dog buns". Not saying your wrong but next time you get a minute maybe you should re-look at buns/bagel area and look for some coney buns. Could make that lady happy and now you know shes not completelt nuts, they do make them.
We don't carry them at my store. I've told her to go to the other 8 Kroger stores in Lexington but she keeps coming to my store.
how many times have you or someone else been caught ****ing in the bathroom
I do'nt think anyone has been caught as far as I know...
I caught one guy cheating on his wife with a cashier in the back of the store at 2am. There was one guy who walked into the bathroom last year and some dude was naked on the bathroom floor covered up with paper towels. We get alot of the drunk students that pass out!

I've been with kroger 5 years, great times. I'm an Asst. custserv. manager at mine. I love the things you mention...they must be universal. Every store I have been at is like high school all over again. I have one funny story though....I had a girl i was dating at the time who worked there come up to me to tell me there is an old man in the break room taking a ****. Obviously I thought she was crazy and just making stuff up. So sure enough I go back there and this old man in a riding cart is propped up between the wheel cart and a chair having liquid **** squirt from his butt onto our breakroom floor. I asked him what he was doing he proceeded to ignore me and wipe his *** with his bare hand followed by wiping it on his jacket. He then ran over his **** on the floor and tracked it all over, I let him go at that point. He did scream at me "My bowels are my business". Had to share, I'm a horrible story teller...
Well... we have witnessed a drunk pissing on the wall near the back room, right inside the door... an old man that pisses his pants and ****s his pants everytime he gets inside the store. We always try and kick him out or catch him before he shows up, but sometimes he sneaks in and the dude leave a trail of stink!!!!!!!!
We've done some stupid stuff for sure. Its fun because the management can't really fire you for goofin off... thanks to the union. One night we finished stocking and it was 2 am. We decided to have a race outside in the parking lot with the electric wheel chairs! Manager saw it on tape next day and asked us about it. He told me that if we hadn't finished everything, he would be upset, but since everything looked great, he laughed and gave us a copy of the tape. I never got the tape since my buddy Matt kept it.
One xmas we had ZERO customers in the store and we climbed on the roof and drank some beer all night. Good times!

That is too funny ^^^ I used to (still do) some stupid ****. Thank GOD for the union otherwise 4 years ago I woulda been gone lol. I used to do burnouts all the time behind the store by our DSD door so they were on camera, then I would watch them in the mngrs office : )

We raced down the parking lot one day and a cop caught us. He let us go because he said he knew the manager and that the manager would take care of it. Nothing was said to us though.
