I work at 315... we are only 36000 square feet but we do most sales per square foot of any store in the state. We get alot of students since we are near campus, but they don't spend over 40 dollars.

366 is wayyy overdue for a remodel, we don't have near enough space for all the stuff we need to be carrying and we lose a lot of business because of it. people just go to the nicer, newer bigger stores in the area.

we are the same way... they have thought about expanding but the land around us is full of houses and they won't sale it. One guy offered the 1/4 acre next to us but he wanted 800k so they said no. You should understand this better then others... we only have 15 aisles and 36000 square ft. But we've been known during football games to have sales in the $900,xxx.00 range in a week. I know some stores do a million easily but we are like a 1/3 of their size.

yeah i have only worked there for about a year and a half and im only a produce clerk but my manager and the store managers tell me lots of technical stuff, those numbers are pretty impressive, it must suck having that many people in the store so often.

I'm at 922 (500k a wk) training, home store was 759 (750k a wk); both are cincy dev. Training has sucked b/c it's so slow at 922. I'm trying to get to a marketplace just so I can stay busy. I can't imagine 900k in a 15 aisle store lol insane.

Try stocking in the small *** aisle with that many people. Plus, we only have a one way in the back to get carts and pallets out to the sales floor. One way for the vendors to bring beer and drinks out, the same way that the frozen and dairy have to use. It really really sucks.

I work at a grocery store too... heres something for you to try next time you get bored at work, i just did it last week and it works great. Me and my buddy were stocking medicines like asprin and stuff like that when we came across a great product we have never seen. I forget the name but it is an oral laxitive. it liquid, comes in a bottle and even comes unflavored.... we bought it (like 4 bucks) i gave the bottle to my buddy and told him to put some of it in the produce kids Dr.Pepper that he left sitting in the back. I told him use his best judgement on how much he put in. he comes back and hands me back the bottle, i look and it was HALF GONE. I quickly read the package to find there are 30 servings in one bottle.... the kid drank the rest of the Dr.Pepper. Us stock employees all like to go on break at the same time, since we order food every night. He comes back on break with us as usall and sits down to eat. We just so happened to order chinnesse that night. We ended up telling him what we did, he just laughed his *** off with us because he knew it was too late to do anything about it. To top the night off the manager made this kid clean the bathroom stall that some dude had diarea in.... I had to supervise him while he cleaned it, by far one of the funniest things i have seen in a while. there was **** sprayed all over the back of the toilet, the wall, dripping on the floor. it looked like a **** bomb went off back there. I took a pic of him kneeling down giving me the thumbs up by the mess. ill have to see if i can load it on here. that oral laxitive really works, the kid who put it in the produce kids can offered to drink the rest of the bottle straight for 5 bucks... i gave him a 5 and he gagged it down, it hit him with in 30 min. and he was running to the can all night

                            ^^ You sir... are disgusting

I would have laughed though :D

Today we decided to have a "huddle". Which basically means we can charge food to Kroger and tell them we are just getting a huddle and getting everyone on the same page. We had bacon, eggs, potatoes, grits, cinnamon rolls, and a few other breakfast goodies.

pffft. liquid laxative. why bother with that when just some dish detergent will do the same thing. I had an old room mate who pissed me off so often that I had to spike them something fierce. He worked the night shift and had to drive an hour to get to work. I made dinner spiked his spaghetti with the dish detergent but made it super spicy to cover the flavor and he ate it down. 5 minutes into his ride to work, uncontrollable explosive diarrhea occurred. it was so bad it soaked into his car seat. he never could get rid of the smell.

Some people need to mature a bit and learn how to discuss matters that need attention rather than pranking somebody to **** all over their own car. You would of got what you had coming ^^ (it might of involved being **** on while you're sleeping)
