Im sure with a 6 deck shoe is not nearly as easy to count as it once was with one deck.
actually it isn't as easy but still easy. Most counters don't memorize cards they use the plus minus system. if the count shows more aces and tens in the deck the advantage goes to the counter, if it has more low cards the house is favored. counters use basic strategy and then deviate from it when they have the advantage. Most 6 deck games now use a continuous shuffler which completely eliminates counting. If you can get a shoe instead of a shuffler though, you can try it.
I don't count, but I pay attention. I will NOT sit on a table with a continuous shuffler! Wes, there are still single deck tables out there. 6/5 kinda blows the odds out though.
