No - get a used engine for a 1/4 of the price.
I bought a used 3.8 engine for a couple hundred bucks and it went 12.1 :)Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
nitrous et & mph: 12.168 & 110.95 mph, n/a 13.746 & 96.38 mph

that's the longest warranty I've ever seen for an AZ engine. Lokking at the price though, it's very close to a NEW 3.4 from GM.

yea but used you need to rebuild it because you dont know how bad its been beatin on....Id buy it for that price, if it was brand new....3 year waranty....cant go wrong....plus while it is out swap a cam in there and do your heads and everything all yourself....
