As a person who has been visiting this site for many years, I wanted to say a big THANKS to the many folks who have provided information on F body cars. This site and the references to info it provides makes owning, maintaining, improving my Firebird a breeze.
Among the things I've found / done thanks to this site:
Bulb # 74 for the little light above the door lock switch and how to access it (just did that today).
How to access and replace the window motor
Blinker replacement (No, it could not just be in a fuse box or something. Instead, it is located behind a screwed-in panel - using two different types of screws, of course). Then, you have to reach up and behind another area to find where it is hidden. At that point, you can pull it out and replace it.
Part numbers for Monsoon speaker replacements (someone keeps sneaking in my car and turning the volume way up after I've parked it - it could not possibly be me listening to the music that loud).
Cutting access panel for fuel pump
Shock tower brace
Home Depot Lid
Whisper Lid
MAF screen in / out / in /out / in / out / in / out / in
PassKey parts diagnosis/replacement
Through the nostrils ram air
CD changer - buy and install
Raised airbox
Dash board replacement
Tire recommendations
Shocks - access and replacement with Bilsteins
Cat replacements - too many times
Coil failure and replacement
EGR issues
Part numbers and sites for various appearance items.
How to get ground effects parts back into place after they've been pushed out of place by me driving over big curbs and such
And to Steve and Robert (and Stefan-RIP): A very sincere thank you!!!
