I haven't posted on here in FOREVER!.... Some of you "old school" members will know who I am.. For all you newbies, Im sorry :-) So Im sobbing because, I HAVEN'T DROVE MY CAMARO IN OVER A MONTH! Every time I see an Fbody on the road, i get all depressed. My baby was giving me a few problems here and there. I figured instead of fixing it up, I would buy another car, and fix her up to a.......v8.... later... So for the time being, shes sitting in the garage, collecting dust..... I got me an 07 Avalanche... yes i stayed with the bow tie!
needs a lot of new stuff...
suspension is shot, i have a coolant leak somewhere, and its on the actual engine.... transmission need a new valve, which has already been replaced once... shifter is broke, place it in neutral and thats reverse, drive is neutral... other stupid little things, nothing "expensive"... this camaro was my second camaro, i hated getting rid of the first one, the only reason i did was this one was the newer body style and it was cheap. il always be a member of this community and have respect for the 6's ;-)
but for anyone looking for a truck, go test drive the NEW 07+ avalanches.... you will fall in love instantly.... i didnt like the 06- .... look for a used one , dealerships are trying to get rid of them quickly with rising gas prices.... i got mine for 26k... 14k miles, only options it doesnt have is gps, sunroof, leather, and 4x4.... i got it below what kbb.com said was trade in value... belive it or not, if i put it on cruise control at 60 on a flat highway, i get 24mpg, but only about 6 in stop and go traffic..... i average out about 15 combining them both with my driving..... the 22's on it came free

So when are you going to get the maro back on the road?
not anytime soon.... $$ is the only thing stopping me.... a 508 payment a month for a avalanche isnt fun.....with insurance im paying 630 a month to drive that... my rent is 800 a month.... but at least im happy with it...

ive been good... its funny how i was so addicted to this board, i can actually look at the cars and remember what the drivers actually look like of the old school members.... I am guessing the marriage is going well? :-) didn't your man have a mustang? how many time has that thing broke down? ;-)

Hey welcome back. You definately have one of the best looking Camaro. But how on earth did you do those kind of damages to it?
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
