and if this "friend" was a real good friend, they would come out to see you sometimes too and not make you drive the half hour every time. you and your friend prolly need to have the priorities talk

I used to have imaginary friends :D, but then they ran away :(. I'm good friends with, well, my friends :P, it's just that most of them I've met through school, and they all either live on campus, or abit further north; I live 1/2hr south of my school, so bleh. They come see me and I go see them, but there's still the gas price thing.

It's possible if you didnt dedicate all of your time to video games, you would have more real-life friends, and wouldnt have to drive 25 minutes to hang out with a real person.

My life isn't dedicated to video games. Yeah I play them, but I also play soccer, go to school, go to work, and hang out. Since summer's here, I can knock out going to school and I have alot more extra hours during the day with nothing to do; I just though a game would be neat to fill it with cuz I could do it anytime, rain or shine.

I'm either at work, sleeping, working on my car, on CV6.com, or with my friends. And I dropped over $1600 on a PS3, games, and an HDTV. I need help.

I've found sim city 3000 and 4 are good time passers, as well as rollercoaster tycoon. really cheap, bad graphics, but IMO games you can play for a while to waste time and not get bored. I also enjoy designing houses in the sims, although the actual simulation with people can get boring.

Bah, jobs are overrated :P. I'm waiting to see how my paycheck from my current job turns out; if it's decent I may just stick with it, but if it isn't, a summer job is definitely an option. And, the car's staying N/A, with maybe some spray :P

But if you really wanna get hardcore (and if your laptop realyl sux) you can get the NES, SNES or Genesis emulators and play the old games...

Tell you what, going back and playing them now, they are frickin HARD! Like we've been pacified with awesome graphics or something, lol

Pick up an old copy of Civilization cheap. I used to play that game for days w/o sleeping.

As someone else suggested, download a simulator and play the old nintendo and atari games.
